On a night that the Baldwin High School football team appeared ordinary, it received an extra-special performance from Abraham Reinhardt when it needed it most.

Seabury Hall dropped the hammer on St. Anthony in form of junior running back Cayde Omura, who accounted for four touchdowns and more than half the Spartans’ total offense en route to a 61-6 victory in 8-man football Thursday at War Memorial Stadium.

The University of Hawai’i Warrior football team will play its first Mountain West Conference game when it hosts Nevada, Saturday, Sept. 22 at Hawaiian Airlines Field at Aloha Stadium. The game will be televised nationally on NBC Sports Network and will kick off at 4:30 p.m.

The University of Hawai’i football team made head coach Norm Chow’s home debut a successful one as the Warriors routed Lamar, 54-2, Saturday at Hawaiian Airlines Field at Aloha Stadium.

Maui High School used a deliberate ground game, riding the strength of Justin McCrary’s 102 yards rushing and two touchdowns en route to a 14-6 win over King Kekaulike on Friday.

In a battle of winless Upcountry teams, the Warriors of Kamehameha Maui defeated King Kekaulike, 11-8, on the strength of Colton Cabanas’ game-winning 34-yard field goal.
