RESULTS: 700 Runners Compete in XTERRA Kapalua Trail Runs
For a third consecutive year, Nick Walker won the Dukes Beach House 10K, finishing with a time of 40 minutes, 42 seconds. Walker also won the event in 2009 and 2010, when it was held in Makena. Van Vlerken was the first female finisher, and the third runner to finish the race behind Maui’s Paul Hopwood of Makawao who finished second with a time of 43:33.
