A special native Hawaiian initiative is seeking the help of volunteers around the world to typescript thousands of pages of Hawaiian-language newspapers into searchable database.

The “Save Our Sina” campaign is a benefit for Anamaria “Sina” Sulunga who fell ill last week, collapsing at home on Wednesday.

The conferees agreed to use general funds to support nine agriculture inspector positions at Kahului Airport on Maui that are currently funded through the Department of Transportation using Federal Aviation Administration monies that will be discontinued at the end of this fiscal year.
