The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation is advising highway users to use caution and expect delays on Saturday, March 14, as the Valley to the Sea Half Marathon and associated races will run through Wailuku, Māʻalaea and Kīhei. Police will assist with traffic control.

The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation is advising highway users to prepare for potential traffic delays on Sunday, Jan. 18, as the Maui Oceanfront Marathon will proceed from the Shops at Wailea to Launiupoko Beach Park.

The 48th annual Maui Marathon events are Sunday, Oct. 14 and include a full marathon, 4-person team marathon relay, half marathon, 10K and 5K.

The 6th annual Maui 5K takes place on March 5, 2017 at the Māʻalaea Triangle. Proceeds from the event will be distributed back to the participating schools.

The HMSA Sun, Surf and Hoops 5K presented by adidas and the Maui Jim Maui Golf Classic have been added to the Maui Jim Maui Invitational’s week of events. Both events will take place on Sunday, Nov. 20.

The Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea hosts the 25th Annual Day of Hope 10K Run and 5K Run/Walk this Saturday, Nov. 15, to benefit Maui’s Pacific Cancer Foundation.

The family-friendly event is open to kids and their parents, and features “hours of fun, active play, and educational opportunities,” including a first-of-its-kind Kid’s Triathlon open to kids ages 5 to 12, a 5K, and a Fun Run.
