The real-life inspiration behind the character “Kevin T.” in the Broadway hit “Come From Away” is heading to Wailuku’s historic ʻĪao Theater for a special appearance at Maui OnStage’s local production of the musical.

Just last month, Mayor Victorino visited the memorial in New York, and described the site as “gut wrenching.” He said, “It is today, 20 years later, that we look back and we see the eternal pool.”
