Roseanne Barr has listed her picturesque 46-acre macadamia nut farm in Honokaʻa for $1.95 million, ending her time as an active farmer on the Big Island.

Maui Land & Pineapple Company, Inc. recently welcomed Baya Bowls, a local food truck known for its fresh açaí bowls and smoothies, to its new location at Honokahua Bay, also known as DT Fleming Beach in Kapalua.

Participating Hawaiʻi public schools served banana sheet pancakes for breakfast this month, featuring local apple bananas. The effort is part of the Department’s farm-to-school initiative which aims to enhance food sustainability in Hawai‘i and aligns with Act 175, which focuses on improving the health of students while supporting local farmers.
