Maui’s Northshore Greenway gets long awaited blessing
The last piece of the non-motorized pathway was completed in April 2020 in the vicinity of the Maui Country Club Golf Course and Baldwin Beach Park. County officials noted that COVID-19 pandemic and gathering restrictions postponed a blessing ceremony until Tuesday morning.

The West Maui Greenway is a proposed 25-mile multi-use trail that will one day connect Ukumehame and Līpoa Point, passing through multiple community destinations and downtown Lahaina along the way.

Does the Hansen Road work include a separate bike/pedestrian path? I would have thought $5.3 million would be enough to also pay for a much-needed bike path.
