Individuals seeking election this year to state, county and federal offices in Hawaiʻi are advised that the candidate filing deadline is next Tuesday, June 3, at 4:30 p.m.

Candidate filing on Maui for federal, state, and county elective offices is available at the Office of the County Clerk, Elections Division office located at 200 South High Street, Room 708, in Wailuku.

The 2012 election season in Hawaii officially gets underway on Wednesday, February 1, with the commencement of the candidate filing period. Until the state legislative reapportionment plan is complete, individuals may begin filings for only: county, Office of Hawaii Affairs and federal seats.
