DLNR: 50-60 coral colonies were damaged by lane markers from canoe regatta

Approximately 50-60 coral colonies sustained a range of minimal-to-significant damage from 60-pound cinder blocks placed in the ocean for a canoe regatta on Hawaiʻi Island last weekend, officials said.
