Compost reimbursement program accepting applications

The Hawai‘i Department of Agriculture and Biosecurity’s Plant Industry Division is now accepting applications for the 2026 Compost Reimbursement Program, offering financial support to farmers and agricultural producers statewide.

State ag dept. releases $427K in compost reimbursements to assist agricultural operations

Twenty-four Hawaiʻi businesses were given reimbursements from the ag department for collecting and transporting compost within the state this past fiscal year.
