Hannah Litt, medical director of the UH Maui College Campus Health Center, has been named the 2025 Immunization Champion for the State of Hawai‘i.

The state Department of Health is reporting a COVID-19 count of 2,380 new cases today, including 337 on Maui. There are also 10 new COVID-19 deaths reported today.

In Maui County, the seven day average for new cases daily is 17, with a 1.7% test positivity rate over 14 days. This is -2% from Nov. 20 to Dec. 3, 2021. For every 100,000 residents in Maui County, there have been an average of 10.0 newly reported cases per day over the last seven days.

In Maui County, the seven day average for new cases daily is 16, with a 1.7% test positivity rate over 14 days. This is +11% from Nov. 18 to Dec. 1, 2021. For every 100,000 residents in Maui County, there have been an average of 9.6 newly reported cases per day over the last seven days.

Maui County’s seven day average of cases peaked at 57.6 per 100,000 on Aug. 25, and has been on a steady decline since the beginning of September, dropping to 14.4 per 100,000 today.

Sept. 27, 2021 COVID-19 Update: 255 New Cases in Hawai‘i

Of today’s 255 cases, there were 238 cases identified as confirmed, and 17 probable cases were added to the count.  The confirmed cases included: 151 on O‘ahu (+11 probable); 29 on Hawai‘i Island (+3 probable); 17 on Maui; 33 on Kaua‘i; one on Moloka‘i (+3 probable); and seven in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state.
