Hannah Litt, medical director of the UH Maui College Campus Health Center, has been named the 2025 Immunization Champion for the State of Hawai‘i.

The state Department of Health is reporting a COVID-19 count of 2,380 new cases today, including 337 on Maui. There are also 10 new COVID-19 deaths reported today.

There are now 41 people hospitalized in Maui County with COVID-19, the same amount as reported during the height of the delta surge in August 2021.

There are 3,392 new COVID-19 cases today; and four new COVID-19 deaths, including two on Hawaiʻi Island, and one each in Maui County, and on Oʻahu.

The state Department of Health is reporting a COVID-19 count of 2,611 new cases today, including 303 on Maui, 33 on Molokaʻi, 18 on Lānaʻi.

Of today’s 215 cases, there were 203 cases identified as confirmed, and +12 probable cases were added to the count.  The confirmed cases included: 157 on O‘ahu (+8 probable); 16 on Hawai‘i Island; 10 on Maui (+4 probable); 11 on Kaua‘i; three on Moloka‘i; and six Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state.

Of today’s 55 cases, there were 40 cases identified as confirmed, and +15 probable cases were added to the count.  The confirmed cases included: 20 on O‘ahu (+8 probable); four on Hawai‘i Island (+3 probable); one on Maui (+2 probable); 11 on Kaua‘i (+2 probable); and four Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state.

In Maui County, the seven day average for new cases daily is 17, with a 1.7% test positivity rate over 14 days. This is -2% from Nov. 20 to Dec. 3, 2021. For every 100,000 residents in Maui County, there have been an average of 10.0 newly reported cases per day over the last seven days.

There were 184 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Wednesday, including 10 on Maui, two on Lānaʻi and one on Molokaʻi.

For the first time since July, new COVID-19 case counts in Hawai‘i have dropped into the double digits with 91 new cases reported today by the state Department of Health.

There were 279 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Saturday. The latest data represents a total of 4,653 “active” cases over two weeks. Maui County’s seven day average of cases peaked at 57.6 per 100,000 on Aug. 25, and has been on a steady decline since the beginning of September, dropping to 14.3 per 100,000 today.

There were 332 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Thursday. The latest data represents a total of 5,130 “active” cases over two weeks. Maui County’s seven day average of cases peaked at 57.6 per 100,000 on Aug. 25, and has been on a steady decline since the beginning of September, dropping to 14.4 per 100,000 today.

Of today’s 255 cases, there were 238 cases identified as confirmed, and 17 probable cases were added to the count.  The confirmed cases included: 151 on O‘ahu (+11 probable); 29 on Hawai‘i Island (+3 probable); 17 on Maui; 33 on Kaua‘i; one on Moloka‘i (+3 probable); and seven in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state.

There were 569 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i on Saturday, including 50 on Maui, six on Molokaʻi, and two on Lānaʻi.

There were 865 additional COVID-19 cases in Hawai‘i today, including 137 on Maui. There were also seven deaths, including one on Maui.

The confirmed cases included: 95 on O‘ahu (-2 probable); 25 on Hawai‘i Island (+2 probable); seven on Maui; nine on Kaua‘i; one on Molokaʻi; and 10 in Hawai‘i residents diagnosed while out of state.
