Hawaiʻi film and creative media industry gets spotlight, backing as awards season nears

The Hawai‘i state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism’s Creative Industries Division is supporting awards season marketing for local films. This is in an effort to reach global audiences and pave the way toward a more vibrant locally created media industry.

The 2024 Creative Lab Hawai‘i Music Immersive program will open the application process on Nov. 1 for singer-songwriters who are seeking opportunities to license their works for global media and entertainment content.

CLMHI focuses on Hawai‘i singer songwriters looking to advance opportunities in licensing their works for global media and entertainment content. Applications will be accepted from Nov. 15 through Dec.15, 2022.
