Dog fosters needed; Maui kennels are full

Maui Humane Society reached over 100% capacity in its dog kennels last week. The facility reports it can care for 40 dogs at the shelter but have over 60 in the shelter and over 130 in its care total.

Maui Humane Society currently has 120 dogs in their care and has kennel capacity for 40 dogs. Dogs are being paired in kennels to make additional space. 30 SOS Fosters are needed immediately to help decrease the dog population at the shelter.

Free Adoptions at Maui Humane Society, Starting Dec. 26

Thanks to a generous donation from a Maui business, adoption fees on all adult animals at the Maui Humane Society are being waived starting on Dec. 26, 2016.
