The Japanese Cultural Society of Maui is accepting applications for its annual scholarships to be awarded to graduating high school seniors with a record of involvement in promoting and perpetuating Japanese culture and/or language.

The University of Hawaiʻi will offer four financial aid workshops in Maui County for Native Hawaiian students interested in attending college, and those interested in applying for college scholarships.

The sessions are offered Sept. 8-11, and include guidance in high school preparation, selecting a college or university, assistance with financial aid, and more.
