First Tee Hawaiʻi hosts Junior Golf Skills Clinics on Maui and Oʻahu

First Tee Hawaiʻi will host two Beginner/Intermediate Junior Golf Skills Clinics this April on Maui and Oʻahu, providing young golfers an opportunity to improve their technique, form, and understanding of golf fundamentals in an interactive, semi-private learning environment.

Trained coaches deliver the programs to kids and teens ages 7 to 17, helping build their inner strength, self-confidence, and resilience – preparing them for the future. Using the game of golf as the platform, participants learn critical life skills to help them grow socially, emotionally and academically.

Registration is open for First Tee Hawaiʻi sessions on Maui and Kauaʻi. First Tee Hawaiʻi is a youth development organization that helps kids and teens build strength of character through golf.

Winners emerge in HSJGA Maui Spring Classic at Wailea Blue Golf Course

A total of 38 junior golfers from across the state teed up in the event, with a feature from a few mainland players as well.  Lahaina’s Ashwin Patel earned a top spot in the Boys 7-10 division.

Kyle Trudell of Kula gets first place finish in Boys 11-12 HSJGA Kauaʻi Spring Classic

A total of 23 junior golfers from across the state teed up in the event, including Kyle Trudell of Kula who took the Boys 11-12 tournament title.  

First Tee Hawaiʻi Spring Break Camp registration on Maui is open

Parents can register their kids ages 7 to 12 to participate at FirstTeeHawaii.org for a 4-day spring break camp at The Dunes at Maui Lani Golf Course, March 17-20, from 8 to 11 a.m. for $180.
