Three men cited for gear and net violations at ʻĀhihi-Kīnaʻu Natural Area Reserve

Three Wailuku men were issued multiple citations within the ʻĀhihi-Kīnaʻu Natural Area Reserve on May 21, at approximately 9:30 p.m. Officers recovered a total of 78 different fish. The men are scheduled to appear in Maui District Court on June 27 at 9 a.m.

Five Honolulu divers cited for fishing and safety violations

Five Honolulu men were cited for a series of alleged natural resources violations on Saturday night. DOCARE reports citizens were concerned about the large amount of ocean resources allegedly being removed from the Lanikai and Kailua areas.

Kāneʻohe man cited for lay net, boating violations

More than 1,000-feet of lay net, and two small boats were confiscated on Friday by DOCARE officers.

Net and Fishing Violations Reported via DLNR App

Two men received citations from DLNR Division of Conservation and Resources Enforcement officers on March 30th at Kahana Bay on O‘ahu’s windward coast.
