Construction Industry of Maui helps to rebuild local playground
The Construction Industry of Maui donated nearly $40,000 worth of skilled labor, equipment and materials for the restoration of the Kalakupua Playground at Giggle Hill in Haʻikū’s, 4th Marine Division Park.

The Haʻikū Community Association will host a meeting on Thursday, Aug. 20 to gather input and provide updates on: the Kalakupua Playground at Giggle Hill reopening; the County’s plans to purchase more than 260 acres of former pineapple land along the scenic Hamakualoa coastline; and a storm season preparedness presentation by MECO.
