HDOT updates travelers on arrival and departure programs

The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation advises travelers that, due to the ongoing partial federal government shutdown, the US Department of Homeland Security has suspended Global Entry for arriving international passengers.

TSA PreCheck remains available at Hawai‘i airports. The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation has been advised by US Customs and Border Protection that the Global Entry lanes are closed until further notice.

The Global Entry program is a US trusted traveler program available to US citizens and foreign citizens of participating countries that facilitates reduced screening and expedited processing at select major airports in the US, including at the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL) in Honolulu.
