#Guinness World Record

A coalition of advocates for the environment, labor, health and native Hawaiians are gathered on Kāʻanapali Beach near the Westin today to speak out against negotiations involving the Trans-Pacific Partnership. As part of the demonstration, the group will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for beach conch sell blowing this evening, in the hopes of bringing attention to the TPP negotiations that are taking place in Kāʻanapli on Maui this week.

As part of the demonstration, the group will attempt to break the Guinness World Record for beach conch sell blowing, as they attempt to bring attention to the TPP negotiations that are taking place in Kāʻanapli on Maui.

The Kihei Aquatic Center is listed as one of more than 175 sites around the world attempting to set a Guinness World Record by holding a simultaneous swimming lesson.
