Brush Fire Burns 2 Acres on Hahana Road in Haʻikū
About two acres of brush and trash burned in a fire reported on Sunday afternoon, June 7, 2015, near Valley Isle Memorial Park, in Haʻikū. Firefighters from Pāʻia arrived on scene at 5:12 to find the fire burning along Hahana Road, about 1⁄2 mile makai of Hāna Highway.
5 People Displaced by Haʻikū Structure Fire
Firefighters from Pāʻia and Makawao were dispatched at 2:37 p.m., and arrived on scene to find the 20-foot by 20-foot structure on Hahana Road fully engulfed and destroyed by fire.
