Hāna Highway to Close for Nighttime Construction This Week
Hāna Highway will be closed this week for nightly roadwork in both directions near Mile Marker 13, Monday Aug. 1 through Friday Aug. 5 from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Roadwork Planned from Huelo to Hāna Starting Sept. 21
The work is part of Phase 2A of the Hāna Highway Improvement Project and is slated to conclude in about six months on March 3, 2016.
Maui Traffic: Hāna Highway Night Work at Wailua Valley
Night work begins on the Hāna Highway in the Wailua Valley area of East Maui this week. The work to repair an existing drainage crossing will result in a road closure between the Wailua Valley Lookout near mile marker 19 and Puaʻa Kaʻa State Park at Mile 22.
