Maui High School students win 2026 Bridge Builder Competition

The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation congratulates the 2026 Hawai‘i Bridge Builder Competition champions, Ian Payba and Jeter Hondo of Maui High School.

Hawaiʻi STEM Conference welcomed 196 Maui County students

Organized by STEMworks™, a program of Maui Economic Development Board (MEDB), the two-day event is the program’s largest student career awareness and teacher professional development event of the year. 

Student winners announced at Hawaiʻi STEM Conference 

This year’s Hawaiʻi STEM Conference, organized by Maui Economic Development Board’s (MEDB) STEMworks program, welcomed almost 600 attendees, including over 70 teachers and 300 students in grades 6-12 from all across the state.
