Hawaiʻi Banks Secure $1.2 Billion in Federal Funds To Help 12,887 Local Businesses
Seven SBA-approved lenders have secured more than $1.2 billion in the second round of the federal Paycheck Protection Program to fund 12,887 local companies and support payrolls for an estimated 140,000 jobs statewide. The deadline to apply for PPP has been extended to May 31.

The loans are available to 7,500 companies across the islands.
Small Businesses Urged to Seek Federal Aid
The Hawaii Bankers Association (HBA) is encouraging small businesses (including solo proprietors) that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic to contact their bank to learn about how they can benefit from the Payment Protection Program or PPP.
