Scholarship applications open for Cohort 7 of HACA’s value-added entrepreneur program

Hawai‘i Ag & Culinary Alliance (HACA) announced that applications are now open for Cohort 7 of the Cottage Industry to Commercial Enterprise Scholarship, a workforce and business development initiative designed to help Hawaiʻi’s value-added food entrepreneurs expand from small-batch production to commercial success. Applications are open now through Dec. 31, 2025. 

CocoNene opens new store at International Market Place after loss of Lahaina store

CocoNene, the local brand known for its made in Hawaiʻi products, has expanded its presence at International Market Place on Oʻahu.  The Waikīkī expansion is part of rebuilding and recovery efforts after the Lahaina flagship store was lost in the West Maui fire in August of 2023. It also comes a month after the grand opening of their new store in Māʻalaea, Maui at the Maui Harbor Shops.

Recruitment underway for Hawaiʻi companies to sell products at 2023 Tokyo gift show

The Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism is recruiting Hawai‘i companies to promote and sell Hawai‘i-made products at the Autumn 2023 Tokyo International Gift Show or TIGS.

Hawaiʻi State Senate Adjourns Veto Override Session
