ʻOhana Day at Hanakaʻōʻō Beach Park this Saturday marks the end of Hoʻākea Maui 2024

Students, teachers, and families are invited to Lā ʻOhana (ʻOhana Day) this Saturday, Sept. 21, 2024, at Hanakaʻōʻō Beach Park (Canoe Beach) in Kāʻanapali, the Maui Huliau Foundation announced. The event will focus on Hawaiian voyaging and natural resource protection.

Moananuiākea Voyage circumnavigation of the Pacific postponed to 2023

The Polynesian Voyaging Society announced that the Moananuiākea Voyage’s circumnavigation of the Pacific Ocean has been rescheduled to the spring of 2023 due to the continuing uncertainties caused by the global pandemic.
