When crews arrived on scene, they found about 20-acres of brush on fire on the makai side of the Honoapiʻilani Highway in an old pineapple field.

The incident was reported at 4:46 p.m. in the area sometimes referred to as the Three Sisters or Chutes and Ladders near Mile Marker 37 of the Honoapiilani Highway.
