Mālama Kula to host Department of Water Supply Chief Engineer for Manaʻo on The Mountain
As part of their quarterly “Manaʻo on The Mountain” Community Potluck series, Kula-based nonprofit, Mālama Kula, will be hosting Department of Water Supply Chief Engineer James Jensen, for an Oct. 22 discussion on Upcountryʻs water system, and where Kula gets its water from.
Water Department completes Central System maximum reliable capacity analysis
Staff from the Maui Department of Water Supply recently completed an analysis of maximum reliable capacity for the Central System. Applications for additional water service will be limited to 1,200 gallons per day unless exempted by the rules.
Kula Community Association to host community meeting, Nov. 20
The Kula Community Association invites Kula residents to its General Meeting at the Von Tempsky Community Center on Wednesday, Nov. 20, 2024, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. for an evening of honoring outstanding community members, hearing updates from County officials on fire and water update for Upcountry and other 2025 KCA business.
