The 2025 Golf Concepts Pro-Pro Championship — an annual player favorite on the Aloha Section PGA tournament calendar — witnessed Mid-Pacific Country Club’s Corey Kozuma and the Aloha Section PGA’s Tyler Ota birdie their first playoff hole to clinch victory on Sunday at the newly renovated Pearl at Kalauao.

Building upon their five-shot lead after the second round, No. 2 Oklahoma became the first team to win three consecutive Kā‘anapali Classics, as well as the program’s fifth title on Maui (2015, ’19, ’22, ’23, ‘24) since the event’s inception.

Led by three Sooners in the top 11, No. 2 Oklahoma (-31) holds a five-shot lead over No. 52 Kansas (-26) after the second round of the tenth annual Kā‘anapali Classic. North Florida and No. 67 Indiana (-25) are tied for third. No. 32 Colorado (-24), No. 5 LSU (-23) and No. 26 Georgia (-22) round out the top seven in a stacked leaderboard.

The funds raised by teams, alumni and fans during the 2023 Kāʻanapali classic will directly benefit families who lost their homes in the Lahaina wildfire.

The 54-hole tournament hosted by the University of Hawaiʻi takes place Oct. 28-30 at Royal Kā‘anapali on the West Coast of Maui.
