Maui fire crews responded to two small brush fires reported on Friday evening in Kahului and early Saturday morning in Kula.

The fire was reported on Tuesday night near the Kahului Community Center. Officials say a bench made of recycled plastic was burned, and a window near the bench sustained minor damage.
