MEO Youth Services, Big Brothers Big Sisters join for beach cleanup

More than 35 youth and staff of Maui Economic Opportunity Youth Services and Big Brothers Big Sisters got together for a beach cleanup, barbeque and fun activities at Kanahā Beach Park on Wednesday.

50 Volunteers Help in Holiday Cleanup Campaign

The “Holiday Gift to Maui Nui” cleanup effort included the removal of about 200 pounds of litter and 800 pounds of kiawe from Kanahā Beach Park on Dec. 6.; and the cleanup of Sugar Beach in South Maui, and Hawea Point in Kapalua in December.
