One lane on North Kīhei Road to close overnight for safety improvements

The Hawai‘i Department of Transportation advises road users that one lane in either direction on North Kīhei Road will be closed from 9 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 28 to 5 a.m., Friday, Aug. 29 for safety improvements.

Beach/Reef Cleanup at Keālia Coastal Boardwalk, Māʻalaea Bay on Saturday

To celebrate International Coastal Cleanup Day, DIve with Harmony and the Maui Ocean Center are holding a beach/reef cleanup on Sept. 24 at the Keālia Coastal Boardwalk beside Māʻalaea Bay. It starts at 8 a.m.

Temporary Parking Lot Closure at Kealia Boardwalk

The parking lot will be closed for approximately 5-10 days as crews replace the Trex decking along the entire Kealia Coastal boardwalk.
