Several public libraries on Maui closed due to severe weather impacts

Due to the severe weather that continue to impact on Maui and Oʻahu, several public library locations are closed on Saturday, March 21, 2026. 

Maui Friends of Library to Hold Book Sale at Kīhei Library

In celebration of Kīhei Public Library’s 20th anniversary, Maui Friends of the Library will hold a two-day book sale at the library on Friday and Saturday, April 22 and 23, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Maui Celebrates National Library Week All Month

Kīhei Library Closed for AC Replacement Project

The Kīhei Public Library, located at 35 Waimahaihai Street in South Maui, is temporarily closed for a pre-scheduled Air Conditioner Replacement Project.
