Kīhei residents Ashley and Justin Ody welcomed baby girl Isla, known affectionately as “Baby Ody,” on New Year’s Day. She’s the couple’s first baby, and also the first baby of the New Year at Maui Memorial Medical Center.

The Kihei-Wailea Medical Center will open its doors to the public on Saturday, June 11, for a free medical screening clinic. Designed to assist those without medical insurance, the clinic will feature a range of diagnostic services throughout the day—free of charge.
