Maui Nui Botanical Gardens Awarded Oha ʻAhahui Grant for Lā ʻUlu (Breadfruit Day)
Maui Nui Botanical Gardens has been awarded a $10,000 grant from the Office of Hawaiian Affairs to hold Lā ‘Ulu (Breadfruit Day) on Sept. 4 and 5, 2021, with presentations throughout the week leading up to the event.
Lā ʻUlu: Breadfruit Day is This Saturday!
The free event will include hands-on cultural activities, cooking demonstrations, and samples of ʻulu-inspired cuisine.
