Restaurant Hosts Honolua Bay Cleanup for Earth Day, April 24

Restaurant, Down the Hatch invites the public to help clean-up around Honolua Bay in celebration of Earth Day this Saturday. The event runs from 8 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 24 between mile marker 32 to 35.

Community Cleanup Kicks Off Surf Meet

Earlier today, a group of volunteers helped collect plastic debris at Honolua Bay ahead of the World Surf League Lululemon Maui Pro. 

5 Volunteers Honored for Preserving Maui’s Environment

Mālama Maui Nui honored five volunteers at its annual Mahalo Event appreciation party, for their work in helping to preserve the beauty and environmental health of Maui County. Honorees this year included: Buck Joiner, Mike Perry, Les Potts, David Rivera, and Robin Vierra.
