Update/Open: Downed tree and power lines on Piʻiholo Road

As of 5:55 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 5, Piʻiholo Road is now open. A portion of road was closed for nearly two hours due to a downed tree and power lines reported earlier in the afternoon.

Update/Open: Vehicle accident on Pūlehu Road downs pole and lines

Pūlehu Road is now open. It was closed overnight and into Tuesday following a motor vehicle accident that knocked down a utility pole and lines across the roadway.

Fallen Electric Wires on Hāna Hwy, Mile 48

Maui police have temporarily closed the Hāna Highway in the area of Mile 48 in the East Maui town of Hāna due to fallen electrical wires.

TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Honoapi‘ilani Hwy at Leialiʻi Pkwy

Honoapiʻilani Highway, north bound right turn lane onto Leialiʻi Parkway is closed; and Leialiʻi Pkwy, left turn south bound on to Honoapiʻilani Hwy is closed.
