The Board of Directors of Maui Humane Society announced the appointment of Dr. Lisa M. Labrecque, DVM, as the organization’s new Chief Executive Officer. She will start work at the shelter in Puʻunēnē on July 19, 2023.

Maui Humane Society is hosting a Free Spay/Neuter MASH Clinic for Dogs June 24 to 27, 2019.

The Maui Humane Society has received $100,000 from PetSmart Charities to help continue to fuel its spay and neuter efforts on Maui.

The final in a series of free Spay and Neuter MASH clinics for cats will be held this week at the from April 25-29, 2017 at the Maui Humane Society.

Thanks to a $260K grant from PetSmart Charities, the Maui Humane Society has renovated and expanded their veterinary clinic, offering more animal surgeries.

The goal for the upcoming Mobile Animal Surgical Hospital or “MASH” clinic is to spay/neuter 600 cats on Maui.

The Maui Humane Society is seeking volunteers to assist at its upcoming Mobile Animal Surgical Hospital spay and neuter clinic for dogs, scheduled to take place Tuesday, March 8 to Saturday, March 12, 2016.

More than 1,050 dogs and cats were spayed and neutered for free at the inaugural M*A*S*H clinics hosted by the Maui Humane Society in June.

“The goal is to sterilize 100 dogs per day, for a total of 400 sterilizations over the four day period,” said Maui Humane Society representatives.
