Mālama Maui Nui Launching ‘Get the Drift and Bag It’ Annual Cleanup Campaign

The nonprofit Mālama Maui Nui is launching “Get the Drift and Bag It!” — an annual cleanup campaign hosted in partnership with the Ocean Conservancy that seeks to empower Maui residents in their environmental stewardship of the island community. This year’s event will take place Sept. 1-18.

Hāna Lava Tube Group Receives Maui’s Adopt-A-Highway Recognition Award

The small but dedicated Hāna Lava Tube Group has received the Nō Ka ʻOi Highway Hui Award in recognition for its sustained volunteerism since 2005 for the Adopt-A-Highway program.
