Visitor arrivals and expenditures on Maui are up for the first six months of the year, with arrivals topping 1.3 million; and spending at $2.3 billion.
Bump in Visitors to Maui Aided by Increased Airlift
Arrivals to Maui rose 3.5% in February to 195,624, according to new information released by the Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority. The bump comes as the agency reports a 19.8% increase in air seats to Kahului in the first two months of the year; and a 13.9% increase in day trips to Maui compared to the same time last year.
