The Maui Food Bank today announced that the National Association of Letter Carriers’ 33rd annual Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive collected over 26,000 pounds of food from Maui residents on Saturday, May 10. This community-wide effort will help provide meals to local families facing food insecurity.

Awalau Farm will host its annual Enchanted Farm Tour on June 17, marking 10 years of captivating visitor experiences.

The 2nd Maui Baby Expo will take place on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Queen Ka’ahumanu Center.  The event is a collaboration between Queen Ka’ahumanu Center and Maui Family Magazine.

It’s “where family and friends come to play,” and Maui Country Club has different definitions of “play,” like golf, tennis, yoga, the pool and the dining room.

The Maui Farm Inc has been awarded a grant of $42,500 through the Hawai‘i Community Foundation FLEX Grants Program.

Maui Economic Opportunity Inc. will hold a Family Engagement and Cultural Effectiveness Conference event on Oct. 28 through 30, 2015, at the Westin Maui in Lahaina. It is expected that 250 Head Start and Early Head Start professionals from the Mainland US, to the Outer Pacific Islands and Hawai‘i will attend.

Hawaiian Commercial & Sugar Company has launched the 2015 HC&S Community Initiative to support “Maui’s Keiki and Families” as follow-up to the community grant program initiated last year.

Maui resident and developer Charles Jencks was appointed today to serve as an interim commission member for the state Land Use Commission (LUC).
