The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation (HDOT) encourages anyone flying into or out of Hawaiʻi airports to expect a busy summer travel season.

Virgin America will start flying from San Francisco to Honolulu beginning on Nov. 2, 2015, and Kahului starting on Dec. 3, 2015, with fares on sale as of today from $199 one way (taxes and restrictions apply).

Allegiant Air plans to cease flights temporarily to Hawaii from seven mainland cities.

Island Air will re-launch service to Kahului and Lanai starting April 15, just prior to ending its Kapalua service May 31.
