Increased Police Presence at Maui HS Following Report of Alleged Fight

We have reports of increased police presence on the Maui High School campus this morning following a report of a possible fight at the Kahului campus. 

LIFTED: “Alleged Threat” Prompted Lockdown at Maui High and Kahului School

Maui Police say an alleged threat prompted the lockdown today of two Central Maui schools. An investigation revealed that there were no threats at the schools and the incident was determined to be unfounded.

UPDATE: Lockdown at 2 Maui Schools, Firearm Investigation Initiated

Maui police continued a firearm investigation which was prompted by a alleged gunman entering Maui High and resulted in an hour-long lock-down of two schools.
