Maui Historical Society to Present Hawaiian Language Workshop

The Maui Historical Society will host an E Ho‘oulu ‘Ike Cultural Enrichment Workshop about Hawaiian Language at Hale Ho‘ike‘ike​ on Wednesday, March 30, 2016, from 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. with UHMC Professor Kumu Kiope Raymond.

Tai Chi for Arthritis Classes to Begin in July

The Maui Historical Society will present “Tai Chi for Arthritis, 6 Basic Movements” at the Bailey House Museum) with Leola Muromoto and Cathy Kewiki on six Mondays, July 6, 13, 20 and 27, and August 3 and 10, from 10 to 11 a.m.

Kuana Torres Kahele CD Release Concert in Wailuku March 27

The Maui Historical Society and H.I. Mele Entertainment will be presenting Kuana Torres Kahele’s live at the Bailey House Museum in Wailuku on Friday, March 27, from 5 to 8 p.m. The event will feature the release of Kahele’s new album, and ticket purchases will include a copy of new CD.

UPDATE: Maui Historical Society Seeks Donations for Moonlight Mele CD Project

The Maui Historical Society at the Hale Ho‘ik‘ike (Bailey House Museum) is seeking benefactors to fund CDs of Moonlight Mele performances. The project calls for a total investment of $5,000.
