Maui housing market remains stable in May; median still nearly $1.3M

In May 2024, Maui’s housing market exhibited stability in single-family home sales while showing moderate increases in median prices, according to the latest figures from the Realtors Association of Maui (RAM). The median sales price for single-family homes rose by 2% compared to May of the previous year, reaching $1,297,500 with the 2024 year-to-date median listed at $1,300,000 for Maui. Compared to last month, the median home price was $1,303,692 in March of 2024.

The median price for a single-family home on Maui in February 2024 was $1,250,760, up 15.9% from the same time last year. The median price for a condo was $744,500, down 18.6% from the same time last year.

Median Sales Price decreased 19.6% to $1,007,000 for single family homes but increased 21.9% to $984,450 for condominium homes, according to the latest report released by the Realtors Association of Maui for June 2023.

The Maui real estate market remains strong heading into the holiday season, with the median sales price for condominiums up 29% to $725,000 and single family homes up 16% to $989,000 for November 2021, according to statistics released by the REALTORS Association of Maui.

RAM: Maui’s Median Single Family Home Price was $932,500 in October

The median price of a single family home on Maui in October was $932,500, up +7.5% from the same time last year. The median price for a condominium home was $672,500, up +13.2% over the same period.
