The jury in the ongoing State v Capobianco murder trail continues to deliberate and is expected to deliberate well into the coming week, sources tell Maui Now.

The prosecution has rested its case in the ongoing murder trial of Steven Capobianco, after presenting dozens of witnesses over the course of 18 weeks.

Pointing out at least 10 consistencies, a Maui orthodontist confirmed that a jawbone found at Nuaʻailua during the search for Charli Scott, belonged to the missing woman.

The Maui murder trial for Steven Capobianco entered a fourth day on Friday with continued testimony from lead detective Wendell Loo, who described hair clumps, bone fragments and clothing allegedly belonging to the Charli Scott.

The pre-trial conference for murder suspects, Stephen Schmidt, 45 and Healohaomakanaamekai Akahi Pua, 24, have been rescheduled.
