Entrepreneurs and small business owners are invited to attend the Feb. 13 Maui TechOhana with guest speaker, Stefan Kuhne, a Google software architect based on Maui. Presented by Maui Economic Development Board, Inc., and supported by the County of Maui, the meeting will be held in-person in Kīhei and also offer livestream viewing.

More than 35 Maui business owners and entrepreneurs attended to network and to listen to invited speaker, David Ai, Director, Chief Innovation Officer at UH.

Maui Economic Development Board is accepting applications from Maui County students in grades six through 12 for the Daniel K. Inouye Innovation Award. The deadline for submitting applications is Aug. 8, 2016.

Next week, five Hawaiʻi start-up businesses will vie for the attention of experienced Silicon Valley investors in front of a live audience at the Third Annual MaiTai Maui Tech Night pitch competition on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, at Maui Tropical Plantation in Waikapū.
