MECO Announces Scheduled Outage in Hana

The work will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, August 23, and will affect sections of the Hana Highway from Ulumalu Road in Haiku (including Huelo, Kailua, Keanae, and Nahiku) to Kaeleku in Hana.

The work today is the third phase of a four week project that began on May 10, 2011.

Phase 2 of the project begins on Tuesday, May 17, 2011,and includes work from Punaiwa Road in Haiku to Kaeleku in Hana near mile marker 31.
