MNBG to Host Arbor Day 1,500 Hawaiian Tree Giveaway

Maui Nui Botanical Gardens will host its 15th Annual Arbor Day Hawaiian Tree Giveaway on Saturday, Nov. 3, from 9 a.m. to noon.

UHMC SLIM Program to Offer ‘Native Plant Road Show’

The Sustainable Living Institute of Maui at UH Maui College will offer the “Native Plant Roadshow” beginning on Sept. 22, and running four Tuesday afternoons from 3 to 5 p.m.

New plants grown this year include geraniums with a variety of leaf colors, bright gazanias, tulip type anthuriums, ivy leaf geraniums, begonias and irises.
