Hawaii Meth Project Announces Call to Artists

The Hawaii Meth Project is accepting submissions for its 2016 “Break the Ice” Art Contest, a statewide initiative aimed at communicating the risks of methamphetamine through art, while empowering the state’s youth to share the organization’s “Not Even Once” message.

Veteran member, Sara Salemi, a senior at King Kekaulike High School, joins new members: Gabrielle Constantino and Justin Shiffler, both sophomores at Kamehameha Schools Maui, and Nicholas Niimi, a senior at Lānaʻi High and Elementary School. The Maui students will work to lead methamphetamine awareness and prevention efforts and expand peer outreach in Maui County.

Baldwin HS Marks Meth Awareness Day With Mural

The non-profit Hawaiʻi Meth Project will unveil its third Maui installation of the “Not Even Once” Mural Project at Baldwin High School on Thursday, Feb. 26, as part of Meth Awareness Day.

Maui Students Named to Meth Project Teen Advisory Council

King Kekaulike High School eleventh grader, Sarah Salemi and Baldwin High School senior McKayla Wandell were the lone Maui representatives selected for the group.
