Nisei Veterans Memorial Center Presents New Exhibit and Programming About Internment

The Nisei Veterans Memorial Center will host Zoom presentations, one on Feb. 13 with Violet Harada and Claire Sato, editors of the book “A Resilient Spirit: The Voices of Hawaiʻi’s Internees,” and the other on Feb. 18 with Takeshi Nakayama, who was interned with his family in the Rowher Arkansas Internment Camp.

Marching Home: Final Phase of Nisei Memorial Underway

The capital campaign, entitled Marching Home for a Living Legacy, will raise $1.9 million in funds for an Education Center, the last and crowing piece of the Nisei Veterans Memorial Center.
